We think that many of these primaries are incredibly interesting in terms of color and vigor. Originally registered in 1899, this plant heralds from Bletchley Park, an English country house made famous by the British code breakers' deciphering of the German Enigma machine during World War II. The park had glasshouses with orchids in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

This remake is incredibly vigorous and the plants are easy to grow and flower. The flowers can emerge from late August through November as they develop buds at slightly different times among the group. Of the first dozen that flowered, all but one had the dark coloration. These are 3N plants and although most will be dark due to the 4N tenebrosa, there will be a few lighter colored ones due to the light pink color of the petals from the warscewiczii 'Hartman's #9'. There is an added bonus in that these plants have the wonderful fragrance of plumeria!

The plants offered are divisions from our breeding stock. The last photo is the actual plant you will receive.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0959/4313/1445/files/6bbcdf96-4dc6-4ca3-89a7-55e6d308bcc0__68210.jpg?v=1775363512
https://store.orchidweb.com/products/cattleya-bletchleyensis-divisions-warscewiczii-hartman-s-9-x-tenebrosa-4n
