Basal flowers are yellow and have fragrance, while distal flowers are red, with no fragrance. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThese plants average 10 to 12 years from seed to first bloom! The first bloom can also be unpredictable, as some plants flower at 18 inches tall, whereas we have had some not flower until they are 36 inches tall.
