The species name refers to the shape of the 3\" flowers, which have a spidery character. This orchid's flowers appear by the dozen when blooming and are superbly fragrant day and night. This species also flowers for us twice per year in spring and fall. We recommend growing this species with at least 50% humidity. Our best 'Fernbrook ' clone has been carefully cultivated and periodically divided since the mid 1980's. These tremendous divisions have leaf spans of about 28 -30 inches inches.
