Compact at about 8 inches tall, in nature it can be found growing either as an epiphyte on tree trunks or as a lithophyte on rock. When new growths appear there are nearly always 2-3 new ones coming from the prior years growth. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eCare Tips:\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e- Water when the potting mix is nearly dry. Keep somewhat drier at the roots in winter months.\u003cbr\u003e- Prefers clay or plastic pots with New Zealand sphagnum moss or tree fern media.\u003cbr\u003e- Blooms mid-winter to early spring with fragrant, 1-inch flowers lasting 3–4 weeks.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eBlooming Habit:\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFlower spikes resemble new leaf growth. Buds emerge as new growths reach 1–2 inches, with flowers appearing on the newest growths, similar to walkeriana.
