It is remarkable that a species with such enormous flowers remained unknown to botanists for so long.

We have a limited number of seldom-seen blooming-size plants available. Currently, we grow them in a bark-based mix and water frequently to keep the roots evenly moist. In the past, we successfully cultivated them in diatomaceous earth on ebb-and-flow benches, which proved to be an excellent method. However, since that material is no longer available to us, we have returned to a more traditional bark mix.

These plants are at blooming size and typically flower between November and March, although occasional off-season bloomers do occur.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0959/4313/1445/files/f4c00324-8e80-4451-8bf1-378b886ada22__12923_bc3a4b03-0e02-4a4b-8350-020202bdccd3.jpg?v=1774644240
