While many tolerate intermediate temperatures, take care not to over-saturate the growing medium during extended periods in the 60s to low 70s, as cooler temperatures combined with excess moisture can lead to issues. Good air circulation is important to help prevent leaf rot.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThese orchids grow well in both sphagnum moss and bark mixes.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003ePlants in 3\" pots are well-established seedlings and are expected to reach blooming size around 2028.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e4.5\" pots – in spike: Flower spikes can take up to an 8-week pause between blooms. Warmer temperatures (high 70s to low 90s °F) will generally encourage faster flowering. These plants were imported in March 2026 and are healthy, with strong leaves.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003ePlease note that Psychopsis may take up to 12 months to fully establish a new root system after import. However, we have not experienced any issues with plants from the last two imports.
