The flowers are well-known for their strong citrus scent. This plant prefers cool to intermediate temperatures with lots of air flow in a potting mix that breathes well. We have luck in sphagnum moss, but be sure not to over-saturate the moss with water, or it can be susceptible to rot.  \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eTechnically, the taxonomists have renamed this 'Phalaenopsis japonica'.
